Sticker Designs!!

I had actually made another sticker from the sticker mule sample pack. this was just a simple doodle to test print quality and sticker quality. i did pick a pretty cute drawing but to mass produce it i would want a higher quality drawing. so that's what the top drawing is supposed to be. I like lolita dresses. but due to my style i always darker aesthetics to fit more so of course i did gothic lolita. I've become more attached to storybook style drawings so I wanted a strawberry shortcake like charactcers

My Real Plans.

I thought about trying to talk a store into including my stickers into their inventory or something like that. but i had just remembered those sticker vending machines from when i was a kid. And that would be the easiest way to sell my stickers so of course I'm looking into that. and seems to be the only way selling stickers locally would work. I can think of some places that could host my product but as of now. vending is the choice. there's no real artists alleys near me or art shows or anything of the sort so doing this would be the only real way to sell my art out here.

Whats the scene out here?

I am thankfully in a city with a sizeable culture of artists and alternative crowds so I do have hope for being able to sell out here. i mean there is gonna be quite a bit of concessions I'm gonna have to make for the scene out here. mostly sticking to Sanrio, Y2k like things, and nu metal. not saying I'm gonna give it all to what people want of course. but we got a college in town so these liberals will eat up local alternative artists.

 

 

Drawing With Dip Pens (video)

Okay Fountain pens were to fancy for me.

I really really like it. alot more than fountain pens and even more than ballpoint. There I Said It!!!!

I Really like it. like i said in my last blog but this recent drawing with new nibs really changed it for me. since my last dip pen was really sharp and sensitive to digging into paper and skipping these new nibs were really nice to work with and running out of ink was not a massive worry. which you'd think would be the biggest limit when drawing with dip pens. There's actually a nib just for holding a shit ton of ink. It's called the Reservior nib in the set i bought it from and came in clutch when it came to the branch crown on the model since it would be a real pain to keep on redipping and i managed to get that whole crown done in less than 2 dips. and that's not to mention how nice it is to work with India ink.

 I did have some.... er alot of problems with Oil based inks 

. mainly was the sheen. since it was an oil certain lighting made the drawing look weird since it was not matte. it was like having a bad viewing angle on a TV. just alot of the contrast was gone when some of the blacks of the ink were looking really bright from the light reflection. and also the fact of since it never really looks dry you can never tell unless you know for sure that it has been long enough for it to be dry. and blots of oil based inks take ages to dry out. adding minuets onto your drawing time just cause of some little ink dots. I don't hate oil ink. I'm just now preferring india ink. but india ink does require some prep and clean up to use so ballpoints are still winning for me.

I went out and tried to look for waterproof fountain pen inks and never really found it. so i had to settle for dip pens and india ink which is very waterproof. and it's pretty cheap since a dip pen kit is just nibs and a fancy stick. I really like using it honestly. India ink lays down very well and does not sheen like oil based ink does. and it has a nice consistent lines. it really does have nice texture. where fountain pens put real effort into smooth writing. dip pens give such nice texture. the drawing above is a cute lil puppy holding onto someones arm. but i replaced it with a mega monster can. cause she's literately Me!!! And My New Cute Erasers!! I love them. These are for sure the ones from my childhood. and they are legit pretty good. if it was not for the fact that they kinda fall apart I really like how well they work. I shoulda know i was gay earlier since my fav was always the cute slice of cake

Rest In Peace 4Chan

In honor I had to make a parody piece of the S.$ T0tenk0pf. what a shit site. think It represents the crossover of trans and gays and Racists and Bigots. but It really did mean alot to me. as a former recovering Edgelord I could bet most of my humor came from the boards of 4Chan. I really did like watching 4chan greentext stories while playing COD Black ops. Later browsing the site myself looking for schitzos on X to subscribe to on youtube. I don't know where 4chan users are gonna go but from how toxic all social medias are. I reckon they will find a comfy spot soon. and maybe people need that kick in the head from online hate groups to realize what constant internet use is gonna lead to. Will this actually further radicalize the internet? no not really. Unless i start seeing actual hate posts calling for actual death of people and not some dog whistle then i will believe it. but for now I hope 4 chan will be back up soon or an alternative is posted. cause I really do like 4chan. It's just a fucking hobby site. if you don't do the ret@rd thing and go to Random, 9k or Pol It's pretty cool. compared to Reddit the sense of community is stronger since mods don't really get in the way of actual discourse. its so much that I see whole threads on reddit deleted. I'm not an edgelord I'm just an adult that understands things on the internet are on a screen. and closing my laptop will solve all of this.

They Just Don't have artistry in graphic design like they used to.

As Every Gen Z kid. i really hate modern graphic design and love graphic design from the 2000s 

Like It's to the point where I don't even study graphic design since alot of the fundamentals are missing now. It's legit just contrast and white space for like more than half of logos or the overall aesthetics for a company. I mean it makes sense since the way consumers view companies have changed massively and art has changed also but jesus. this is too much for so much graphic design to be essentially mono color and just all based around the fucking type face. so just canva bullshit.

Why is there legit more to Study from ONE Carton of juice than the entirety of Hot topics modern aesthetic

lt's fufin pathetic really. I really do have an interest in graphic design and I still see good and creative graphic design. but to compare it to what we used to have with the Boarders book store graphic design or the interior design of Old starbucks stores and even the interiors of many fast food places like taco bell modern graphic design just does not hold up.

Back to Ballpoint. For Now

I Love Herrrrr. she is really alot I love about the fem spirit. she is just so pretty and has aged so well. and we can't ignore she is country royalty. I grew up around alotta country but again she is still a lil before my time. but again her aura and beauty transcends her time period.

My Watercolors were like 40 dollars. I have to use them

Right Now I am using a Winsor and Newton tube watercolor set. And that was like 40 dollars. I really like it. something I only need from watercolor is to lay nice and flat colors and they do that for me. I know cheaper sets can do that for me like the Winsor and newton pan set.

Should I stay with Fountain pens?

Right now I need a waterproof ink for my fountain pen cause its only waterbased right now. and the most stable ink i can make paintings with is my ballpoint pen. I really want to work with my fountain pen so i hope i can find some ink locally but right now its gonna have to be just ballpoint pens

Video Ideas?

Tbh I would be starting pretty much from nothing if i were to start video making again. I still have most of my equipment but I just don't got the workflow anymore. It's something that's been in my head but I just got no real ideas. I reckon Vlogs would be the best next logical step so It could be that. If you got any idears let me know.

I'm gonna guess you have forgotten i Do watercolor sometimes. I forget too honestly. I mostly use it for just color. since my crosshatching does all of the shading work. I just add plain colors and don't really dabble in cel shading or anything with the watercolors. that's why I really like watercolor since it can just really let the line work stand on its own while having color.

It's really easy to just paint after the line work. but the only thing is the ink must be waterproof. so I had to use india ink and a dip pen since my fountain pen ink ain't water proof.

I really like this ref image It's a pretty intimate angle and pose and it makes it really cute and romantic. I did not really take any creative liberties with the model but It's mostly to do with the background. some pink and some plushies. since I know girls these days love tacky pink bed spreads and tons of plushies. like tons seriously. So filling some of that space with some of her personality is something I really like to do with my drawings. since sometimes alot of porn and pin ups are just situational. not really saying any thing or giving much character to the model. It's really cute!!! it seems really softcore to me but I really like it to be that since it's supposed to be more pure and personal.

I Love Deer!! So Cute! and dumb looking

If I was not a raccoon girl i would be a deer girl. one of the animals you see often in Texas. They can be really dangerous when driving at night. I do kinda get really sad when i see them as roadkill on the side of the road since they are just such simple creatures. and even when they are hunted it makes me feel worse. Just killed for the sake of some guys sense of masculinity.

i love the ref image. I think this has been really good to study alot more animals since it had been my weakness for the longest time. plus I love Farm Animals!!! I know Deer are not farm animals but Doe and Goat kids are sooo cute!!!! they are all weird and stalky

I love Sticker Slaps!!

 It's been in my head since Highschool but In my Graphic design class in highschool we watched Obey Giant. and from there It started my addiction to printmaking,Graffti and sticker slaps. though i have had in interest in graff for a while since then seeing the Obey project and how it worked through stickers was really cool to see and kinda changed graff alot for me.

Sticker slaps are alot easier than tagging or throwing up whole pieces. and the medium allows for fine pieces since graff markers aren't skinny at all. Most slaps use a really simple base of using UPS shipping labels. for this piece I used labels from a label maker from my job. sometimes it ejects unprinted labels so I just Pocket those. they are large enough to daisy chain them and make a decently sized stickers.

I made her whole outfit black since it looks a little more cohesive. and her haircut makes her dominant. it makes her so fucking hot. you can tell from how slutty i sound that I really wanna draw more strong girls.

Err So what does this really mean?

I Know I was talking about some bisexual thoughts and it's pretty true. I really love strength and dominance in my partners and it's just made me so obsessed with Muscle girls and tomboys. such an incredible mix of beauty and grit. I just want that so fufin bad. but there is like zero women out here like that. so that's why it's kinda just stayed a fantasy for me. unless? any strong women that can lift 200? My mom has an office job so she often just offers me random stationary. and recently at lunch with her she had given me a full set of zebra highlighters. I'm Not much of a stationary nerd. I really like it when I'm scrapbooking but not much for my actual art. but i do love using highlighters tho. they can add some really cute details.

Took Some Inspo From Dream Cassette

The Areola and body type really reminded me of one of my Fav NSFW artists so shout out to Dream Cassette. the way they render anatomy is certainly stylized It's really attractive. really large cans and very plump anatomy it's really cute. and the line work really adds to it. I really like how they mix black lines and lines in a darker shade for sharper details. it really helps with keeping all of it looking really clean. that with the cel shading its really nice. they are certainly an artist I've taken some inspo from.

I again looked at older styled commercial graphic design for that boarder since I've been wanting to get more gothic and more vintage since I don't really pull from modern design. I find the boarder really charming. almost like an album cover for some love funk. I wanted the model to look more mature and give her a cute hair style so I gave her that short bob comb over. since it mixes all of that. the maturity cuteness and sexy all at once. and those cute pink lips pair so well with those large pink areolas. I would not say a Venus like body but she is for shure very plump. I really really like her. <3

 Mental stability once again.

Back to a more stable life 

We are back at rosa's and I'm loving it. both working with people I love and working my fav hours. Right now I am part of the morning crew. which is my fav shift at rosa's. It's alot slower and the morning crew is so much better to work with. so overall I really like it. also working lunch is alot of fun too since i get to be on line which has to be my fav thing to do. and I'm hired back for more money and I know exactly what I'm doing so its really nice. working during the day and having a better sleep schedule is doing so much good things for me. so I'm really loving alot right now.

Honestly at the Moment I don't really plan on fully fully transitioning. I do hope on using my new name more and more. Lily Clove. She's kinda of a pseudonym at the moment but I wanna use it more. both are natural things I like alot. Health Better Than Worse

i'm Not Smoking anymore :3. It really does not fit well into my schedule. It was alot easier at allsups when i had tons of time to just stand outside and smoke outside. but now working at Rosa's I work with alot of people I would not want to see me smoking. really. I just think while working my overnights i was really unstable and i needed alot of stimulants. and ciggs helped alot with appetite suppressant and mental stability. but now I don't really need them. Not saying I have no cravings tho. ciggs are not even close to matching the body and flavor of a cigarette. But I would say a great step in my overall health. I'm still up on too much of my sugars tho. I'm back to putting sugars in my coffee and unhealthy snacks. I will say being back on line cook is alot more exercise than cashier

Drawing Has Changed For Me After Abandoning Content Creation 

Social media is finally valueless to me. I really only upload here but no more youtube or insta. i thought youtube would help widen the scope of my art or something like that but not really. same thing with instagram. I just have to recognize having more time for my projects and time in between my projects would be the best option. Right now I'm thinking of more things to do with the lily clove pseudonym. it really has reduced the amount of pin ups i want to draw. it was really nice to draw and easy to upload but now I want projects with wider scopes and take longer to make. something fully for myself and not for some algorithm to analyze or whatever
